First Trip in the 28BHBE

Well we took the new TT out last weekend to our local KOA. Being it was our first time EVER using a travel trailer I wanted to be close to home and go somewhere that made the process pretty easy.

The weekend went great. Got everything hooked up correctly and the trailer worked awesome! Just two minor issues so far. Shower needs to be calked better around the glass doors. Had some water on the floor after taking a shower. Also the two speakers in the living area were cutting in and out. Need to have those looked at. Otherwise it worked flawlessly.

And my old tow rig even did great! Still trying to set my trailer brakes correctly. '

Thanks for all the compliments on the truck! Its a 1991 GMC 3500 Crew Cab Dually. 454 with the 4L80E overdrive trans. 80k original miles. Interior is perfect. Needs paint and a little TLC but otherwise is an awesome truck. And yes, plenty of power to two the TT. With the current prices of new trucks I'll take my old beast any day.

That's awesome, love those old Chevy's and still miss mine all the time. You will be driving a frame, wheels and an engine before that thing quits running.

Very nice. Looks like plenty of room for your growing family, including the pup of course.

I’d keep your truck man. Seriously won’t beat the bang for the buck with a newer truck. You also have something unique and a good conversation started.
