New to Trailer Camping

Hi everyone happy to be here. My wife and I are planning on getting a Jay Feather 22FQSW soon and are very excited. Anyone else have this trailer and what are your thoughts? We have one child, an 11 year-old boy who will be joining us on our journeys. Also we have 2 small dogs. I was looking at the 195RB but decided it would be too small for us. Thanks for your input!

Welcome to the forum - glad you made it here I agree that the 195RB is a bit small for your needs - the 22FQSW should be a better fit. Lots of great folks here so just let them know if you have any questions. Happy Camping..

Welcome to the forum and as far as suggestions well my wife has only one. She felt there was no kitchen counter space for meal prep and for cleanup dishes or for the dishes to dry. No space for kitchen tools next to you when actually cooking. She said have your wife just pretend putting a meal together and see if she's comfortable with it. Other than that Jayco makes a fine unit that will give you years of enjoyment.

Thanks guys I feel welcome already. Nice to chat again tt! I had the same thought last night about the lack of counter space. Dang it. Gotta go chat about that with the misses. Later.

Weird because we were looking at the 195RB which has MORE counter space. I've gone back and forth on this one but we might go back to the 195 since it's cheaper and we dont plan on doing anything more than a few days at a time. Our house also needs a new AC system :-(. Priorities darn it!

If your tow vehicle can handle a little more weight, look at the 23RLSW.
