New TT!

Just picked it up this week and loaded it up yesterday. Planning to head to the scales tomorrow. Seemed to tow fine behind my Tacoma, even during a thunderstorm.

New TT!

Congratulations! One piece of equipment that has been really useful for tracking weights for me has been a Shurline tongue scale. Saw Rustic Eagle recommended one in a post so I went for it. I've been surprised on several occasions, including my PDI where they had forgotten to drain the freshwater tanks after a full leak test

Looks nice!!
Like Siamese, I am also wondering if that is a 26bh.
I, too, have a 26bh.

Do you tow your TT empty of fresh water?

No, I don’t. In fact on a number of occasions I travel with a full load of fresh water to save time at the campground upon arrival. Take note that you will lose around 10-20% of it through the overflow tubes while traveling.

Congratulations!

I was curious about your TV and the weight of the TT. It appears your Tacoma has a tow rating of 6500 pounds and a payload of around 1400 pounds.

Your new trailer has a GVWR of 7500.

Not to be negative but that is a lot of trailer for a Tacoma.

LOL a couple of these old threads resurrected from the dead. He's either been pulling it fine for 5 years now with that Taco, or things didn't work out so well and, well, ......

Very observant. Wish he would check in now and let us know if the Taco was his TV, and if so how it went.
