New TT accessory list
So I'm buying a Jayco 26BH in a few days. Is there a list out there of recommended accessories that I need to buy? For example, what's the best sewer hose to buy? Just a check list or something to guide a new TT owner.

New TT accessory list
I went with a Rhino Flex Sewer hose setup. Very durable. Grab a sewer hose support while you are at it too. Camco makes a nice one.
If your unit has a sewer flush built in, grab a water hose and mark the ends with red paint or something. This should only be used with the sewer flusher as to not contaminate your water supply.
Leveling blocks are nice to have. I grabbed a set of "Lynx Levelers" with my first TT that has lasted me to my third unit now. It came with two wheel chocks, twenty Levelers and caps to make it easier to use your stabilizers on them.
Grab an extension cord for the amperage of your unit. Mine has been used fairly infrequently , but man what a life saver it was the few times I needed a few extra feet! Same thing with your water hose. Grab an extra one.
I can keep on going!!!!!!! Hope this helps

x2 on the Rhino Flex and support. As for your hoses, I have white for my fresh water, make sure you buy at least a 50 footer because some campsites the spigots are not necessarily close to your trailer connection. When you're not using the hose, screw the ends together to keep junk out. I have a grey colored hose for anything but fresh water. Buy yourself a "water bandit" for those dry campsites that don't have spigots with threads on them.

Family and I just ordered our first TT, too! Congrats and hope it goes well. I've been reading this forum for a few weeks and based on my reading, here is a list we put together:
30 amp Extension
30 amp female to 15 amp male
30 amp female to 50 amp male
Water pressure regulator
Hose Filters
Drinking water hose 50'
Hose elbow
Rhino Flex tank kit 15ft
Porta Pak chemical
RV Dry lubricant
Awning cleaner
Latex gloves for black water
Wheel Chocks
Level Blocks
Blocks for the jacks
Drill adapter for stabilizer
Black water hose
Level for trailer
Portable tool set
Popup Gizmos
Sewer Hose levels
Cordless Impact drill
RV surge protector
We are working our way through the list and somethings might be redundant for you but figured, I'd share.

I discovered buying the TT took about 80% of the budget. Getting the necessary "stuff" to go camping took the remaining 50% of the budget.

This. My lynx are used exclusively for the stabilizers and tongue jack now.

We're not familiar with that model, but .... If it has an attached power cord that lives in a little hole in the side of the trailer, we'd advise getting the kit to make it detachable. Our 23 MRB came with the attached one, and it was taking half an hour to get it back in; it's about an inch in diameter, and doesn't coil all that well. Pulling it out loosened the facing piece until it eventually fell off. We had the dealer install the kit, and now it's easy-peasey.

We sat down and made 3 lists when we got our TT
One was must-haves before first trip
Two was nice-to-haves we wanted pick up in first year or so
Three was the dream list that were just luxuries and not necessities
This was our must-have list
Water regulator
Surge protector
Sewer hose adapter
Fresh water hose
Water filter
Cable for TV
Bedding
Leveling blocks
Wheel chocks
In addition, we wanted a few containers, dividers, door hooks, plus we needed TV bracket since ours was not so equipped already
Our 2nd list had things like more storage options, extension cord for shore power, awning lights, cleaning supplies, better quality sewer hose, sewer hose support
Our 3rd list was, still is, things like pillows just for TT, wheel covers, screen room
Hope this helps
