New Unit In, Signing Paperwork Wednesday

Woohoo! My new unit arrived in Plant City this morning. I will be driving down on Wednesday to check the unit out and sign all the paperwork. I will scheduling my delivery then. If they will agree to pick up my motorhome a day or two after the delivery, I can move to another spot here and just unload from the MH into the TT. Then I can take delivery on Thursday if that is workable with dealership. If not, I will have to wait until at least Friday to take delivery since I will have to unload and put into my storage unit for a day or so. I am doing the happy dance today!

Good times! Best part is, when you empty the MH, you'll likely find that missing do-hicky thing-a- bobber you lost a few years ago. BONUS!

LOL, Stingray, I already have found stuff I forgot I had or had no idea where I had put it. Too many storage bins under the MH with too many places things can hide. Now, everything will be in the TT with me. Much easier to have specific places for things that make sense to me.

I did the first walk through yesterday and found just a few problems. They were all the result of the trip down and require little adjustments. The major problem was my new rig had not been plumbed for my washer and dryer. This was a must have for me and everyone I talked to knew this. Long story short, it is being plumbed by the dealership and I will go back next Thursday to do another walk through. I will get my demo at that time. My new home will then be delivered to me here the next day. I am so glad to finally be getting to move into my new RV. It felt really good to actually be standing in my new rig yesterday. I was really nervous because I had never stepped foot in one of these units before. I ordered it using only the floor plan and pictures on the Jayco website. I don't know that I would have taken that leap of faith if it had not been a Jayco.
