New window installation

My friend has a Jayco Senica that had a window on each side of the overhang. He remodeled his overhang and took out the windows and gave them to me. The walls were 2" thick.
I want to use them in my bedroom slideout wall but the walls are only 1 1/2" thick.
Any suggestions on what to use to fill that 1/2" gap around the inside of the windows. The size is approx. 14" x 20" and they are openers.
It has to be pretty spiffy looking as the wife will be able to look at them every night and explain to me how they "just look awful" or something like that.
Thx for any ideas.
Jack

Stain some wood that's a 1/2" thick and frame the hole first then set your window in place. Leave just a small reveal around the window so you won't draw attention to it. If you don't like the wood stain then either Black or the color of your interior wall.

I would suggest bedding them both butyl tape when you install.

Myself, I'd pass on installing them. Sounds tempting but I wouldn't risk it. It is unfortunate though, since they were free.

new windows

I forgot to mention that the windows have radius corners, not square.

Not doing it is not an option.
