New Years Eve leak

Oh great. New Years Eve in a campground. Only our 2nd time out in our new 2017 Jay Flight 24rbs. Our leak is coming from the area under our wardrobe in the bathroom where all the lines are - water all over the bathroom floor and inside the bathroom cabinet, heading who knows where. Totally soaked 2 boxes of Kleenex that were there. We've gone through tons of towels. Called Richardson RV in Menifee, who are open today, who will NOT take us on an emergent basis, which totally sucks. They suggested we call Coachnet, the free roadside service that came with the purchase, and come to find out if you bring your trailer in an emergency to their service place it voids any JAYCO warranty. SOooooo, we turned off the water which means no toilet in the middle of the night and trucking to the camp bathrooms, and it's freezing here! At least the coffee pot works and the bed is cozy!

First, check all the threaded fittings, especially on the back of the water heater or any valves in the area.

Also who said it will void the warranty? JAYCO works with many mobile service providers.

Did you have a black tank rinse and, if so, did you use it recently? There is a 'vacuum breaker' valve in that system has been known to leak so check that too.

For your toilet use just fill a bucket or gallon jug and fill the bowl and rinse as needed. Saves walking in the cold at night.

You guys all are the best! Hard to think straight in a panic! To clarify, only a non-authorized warranty service business was available today to help. Meanwhile we turned off the water and are paper plating it! Can't get to the fittings and will let the RV dealer fix everything when we get home. Love the toilet suggestion!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear of your situation. I wonder if you do suspect it is the fittings on the hot water tank could you turn the tank off and bypass the water to it, giving you cold water in other places.

I believe we may have found the culprit! After checking everything from the inside access we went outside and pulled out the kitchen sink/stove and the kitchen sink line was leaking!!! Wish us luck! Out to get clamps!

UPDATE: Thanks everyone for sparing us the hundreds of dollars we might have gladly spent to fix the leak yesterday. It was a leak in BOTH hot and colds lines of the outside kitchen, now clamped, working, and drying out the area! Does this happen a lot? We have only been out twice and it's a 2017!!! Oh, and Happy New Year, my new JAYCO family!
