New York to Florida

I just returned from driving my Jayco 32BHDS from Long Island, NY to Disney in Florida. It was quite the trip. I stayed away from the tunnel in Baltimore and took the Key Bridge. Once through there it was smooth sailing. I do recommend trying to stop at a Flying J or TA for Fuel. They seem to be the easiest to maneuver around through with a 32ft trailer. I wish these truck stops would add a pump by the truckers diesel pumps to make it easier for us travel trailers. Some of these newly designed stations look pretty on the architects model but in reality are not conducive to people with regular gas trucks with trailers or regular gas RVs.

Amen on gas pumps back with the diesel pumps. We're 50' from stem to stern and it's often an adventure at Flying J and other similar stops. I often look for a gas station whose pumps are parallel to the road. Can be a easier stop.

Glad you made it back to Long Island safely and hope you enjoyed your time in Florida. Did you stay at Ft. Wilderness?

I always stop at truck stops to fuel the truck. Get a .10per gallon discount from Good Sam plus plenty of room to manuever.
