Hi!! We just bought a 2020 Jay flight trailer but have encountered some things we can’t find much info about. Hoping someone will know : )
1. Our AC has a thermostat inside. We turn it down to 65 when we get to the site and then turn to up so it’s not so cold. However we have noticed on our last trip that the thermostat is on but the air isn’t blowing. We turn it off completely... wait a minute and turn it back on and it works. Why is it doing this? It worries us since we do leave an animal in the trailer while we run out and definitely don’t want him to suffer if it stops working while we are gone. Any ideas?
2. Our fridge/freezer combo has an electric or propane as options. We turned on the electric but the fridge never got cold- however the freezer did. So we Switched to propane and it gets colder faster and stays cold. If we move it back to electric the temp in the fridge goes from roughly 30 degrees to 50. We are completely level when we park so we have no idea why this is happening. Thankfully using propane doesn’t take much. Anyone else have issues?
3. What is the best item to clean out the black water tank? We bought a Camco Rhino Blaster RV Holding Tank Rinser but it only sprays in one area. We also use the dissolving tablets but we want to make sure that we are cleaning the black tank appropriately. What’s the best?
