No 12V power from battery when disconnected from shore.

I'm having a power issue with my 2015 26BH and was having trouble finding related issues with search, so here it goes.

When disconnected from all shore power, except the battery, my power meter tells me there is 0 charge and nothing will turn on. Actually, when I disconnect from shore power I maybe get a minute of battery power.

When connected to shore power, the inside battery meter shows full and all power items work.

When connected to the tow vehicle, the brakes work, but the 12V batter still appears dead to anything inside the trailer.

I've checked the 12V battery with a volt-meter while disconnected from shore and TV and it shows 12.67V which I believe is a full charge. I tested various connection points between the batter and where the lines run inside the trailer and they as show 12.6 volts.

Where should I be checking next? My undestanding is that the 12V items in the trailer should just work if the battery has charge.

Might be worth mentioning that the power jack gets full power. But I did blow the 30 amp fuse right near the battery a while back but have replaced.

I've checked every fuse in the power panel under the fridge and they all look ok.

There might be two 30 A fuses, one for the jack and one feeding the rest of the trailer. Also check the fuses with an ohmmeter or replace with known good fuses to see if that helps.

I would check the wiring that feeds the 12v power buss for voltage. If it's not there you have the problem hemmed up and just have to find out why not.

I still suspect you have a inline fuse or breaker that you are not yet aware of.

I see a couple of possibilities, but I would def. start with the 30 amp fuse at the battery. Next I would check the battery terminals to make sure they're nice and tight. And third, make sure the ground from your battery is bolted tight to the frame; you may even want to loosen it up, and then tighten it again. Also look for corrosion. But to me the most likely culprit is either the fuse or a bad ground from the battery.

So while looking for another fuse near the battery, and moved some wires and heard some crackling. At the positive junction box attached to the front of the trailer, one of the bolts was loose. Tightening it up got me power.

I'm wondering if there is another fuse. Even with the fuse near the battery removed, the trailer still got 12V power, but the power jack doesn't work so I figure that fuse is only for the tongue jack.

Looking under the trailer does no good as we have the insulation option.

For now I'm happy though, tightened the loose connections up and all seems well, I'll cross my fingers that it was limited to that.

Did you tighten all the connection in the junction box. On new units I found a lot of poor connections.

By the front frame there is a square 4x4 box. There should be two green wires with a fuse. Check that first. Next there are two 30 amp fuses in your inverter. You will have to unscrew the cover. Check those next.
