No Hot Water

My Atwood 6 gallon electronic ignition water heater will not heat water whether I try using gas or electric. The tank is full with no air in it, I have checked the circuit breaker and all fuses are good. The gas igniter doesn't click to fire the gas and if turned to electric,---nothing. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? I'm supposed to leave next week for a trip, but I don't think the wife would go without hot water.

You could have a bad thermostat which is not letting the control board function or it could be a bad board or even a loose connection. Did you check the fuse with a meter or just look. I have seen fuses look good, but blown.

It will take a couple hours for the electric heater to heat the water up, if not a more. Gas would be faster but will still take some time.
