No water pressure

Hello. We've been trying to achieve prime for pump for over an hour with no luck. Faucets stop running immediately when opened. We're at electric only site. And electric for water heater isn't working either. It will work on gas. Many thanks --Please Help!!

Are you [emoji817] sure that you have the valves correct?

Yes, valve's are correct. I have an extra new pump--- considering changing it, but for moment, I just turned it off.

Have you checked the intake line for any holes? If there is a hole, you'll only be sucking in air, no water...

You don't say what your unit is or how old.

The water heater could be corroded contacts. Cleaning them with an emery board will fix that. We had this happen a couple of years ago.

Check the screens. The particulate screen just ahead of the pump can cause this kind of problem, and it doesn't take much debris at all for the flow to stop.

It's a small canister looking thing, usually in line really close to the pump itself. Just spin the "canister" off and take the filter screen out and give it a good cleaning.

I had a similar problem in my TT, and this fixed the problem. Just looking at the screen, I couldn't believe such a small amount of "stuff" could cause this, but it did.

ETA: Also check the screens in the various faucets just in case.

My new Jay Flight exhibited the same symptons when I dewinterized it for the first time. Turned on the water pump and all it did was make noise and antifreeze would just spit out in short spurts from the faucet. Thinking I had all of the valves turned correctly as I religiously followed the owner's manual instructions, I determined a valve used to suck in antifreeze during the winterization process (inline with the clear hose by, at least in my case, the fresh water tank under a bench seat) was not closed. I closed it and everything then worked.
