Non-Levelling Dicor

After applying eternabond tape to my slideout I planned on using dicor sealant on the edge of the tape where it meets the metal slide out frame. I've only ever used the self leveling dicor product.
Am I safe in assuming that the non self leveling will act and install like regular silicone caulking?

Yes it is like other caulks. If you want it to look nice, push the caulk gun, don’t pull. Then spray with glass cleaner from spray can, and wipe it off with finger. The cleaner keeps it from sticking anywhere else other than where it already touches.

Thank you Kevin. Appreciate that advice. Have a great day!

Don't over caulk those seals. You want it to seal but not stick up enough to engage the wiper seal when it comes in. Another tip is to let the caulk set and dry before bringing the slide in.

Thanks....I have the slide closed right now as it's been raining pretty heavy here. Waiting for a forecast of 3 clear dry days before I attempt it.

That's probably the worst sealant/adhesive I've ever worked with. Glad it's done.
