Norcold N611L green flashing light

Hi,

I have a Norcold N611L that is not cooling. The green light is a constant flash. Tested the thermistor in a bowl of crushed ice and the blinking stopped. Any help would be appreciated.

on mine, if green light is flashing, it means I have it on "gas" and it is not getting gas or not lighting

Mine has auto, off and gas. When on auto it will go AC when it’s plugged in. Gas is not connected at the moment. I’ll be checking if gas will work this evening.

same, if it is on "auto", it will choose electricity first; if it cannot find power, it will shift over and look for gas.
obviously, when it is on "gas", it only looks for gas.

We may be on to something here. If it’s flashing while on AC and no gas detected it may or be getting the electricity it needs.

Have had this on occasion while traveling, usually after driving in a big rain storm. Means that the flame has gone out & could not relight. I have always had success just switching the unit to "Off" for about 20 seconds and then switching it back to either "Gas" or "Auto". Usually just resets and works properly after that.

Happened to mine the other day after the power had gone out. Like mrmom I just had to turn off and then turn back on and it started back up.

Got it going. Had to flip the breaker off then back on. Don’t know if it kinda half tripped but seemed to have fixed the issue. It would go no problem with gas but I like to cool it down with AC power before the long drive so it’s cold when we get to site and that wasn’t happening. All good now. Thanks everyone.
