Norcold N8X on but not cold

So here we are and it is 15 degrees F.

The Norcold N8X fridge shows a green light for normal operation. However it is not cooling at all.

I have been running on the A/C side. I have checked all fuses and breakers, but I have not found a reset switch.

I just switched over to propane to see if that will cool the fridge.

No error codes at all. I am a hit of a loss on this one. Any ideas?

Check this out on page 12. Gas absorption refrigerators are not to be used below freezing temps per the manual.

I didn't know that, and I've used mine many times when it was below freezing. I searched the subject and learned that there's a Norcold Cold Weather kit that can be installed on the fridge. Pretty cool. haha

Right now the kit is selling at a 42% discount...

Makes me wonder if just putting a 60, 75, or 100 watt incandescent bulb back there in cold weather would also work.

It could be a bad refrigerator mother board. Mine went out a few years back. The indicator still showed green but no cooling. I tried everything!! Resetting breakers, checking and checking all the fuses, but it wouldn't cool on either propane or 120v.

I took my trailer to the Dealer service dept and they quickly diagnosed a bad MB. It was a quick change-out and the fridge now works great in both propane or 120v modes.

That sounds like where we are at. There is a reset trick I have found to ground out the board. I think that is my last guess before calling in a professional lol
