norcold odd working

Brand new 2022 28 bhs with a norcold absorption fridge. Been out 5 times this year and the first time we never really noticed how the fridge worked. Wasnt all that cold but didnt really notice it. Every other time it would not get cold except for the freezer. This past weekend it would not work at all on shore or LP with the exception that the freezer would frost up a little but the fridge remained at room temp. All weeken it was 72 deg F.

Yesterday i opened it up and it was 36 deg F in the fridge with the setting on 4 stars. This made no sence as the fridge has not worked propper from the start. We got home i turned it off and let it sit then turned it on last night and this morning, all is working again. Was set to auto and was on shore power.

My question is silly but is it possible this thing needed to break in? One time during this past weekend it actually turned off completely and nothing worked for a day. Now it is. The eyebrow was always green and no codes. LP tanks are full and on.

Ghosts in the cooler it appears. Im going to shift it to LP after i shut it down again today and see what happens.

Dealer is 90 miles away so i just cant run it up and there is no onsight warranty repair up here in Ontario for either the fridge or the coach.

Any thoughts on this? Ive been camping for 43 years with multiple rigs and this has never happened.

They take quite a while to reach equilibrium once you turn them on (like over night). Also, if you can, put already chilled things in it like cans of pop rather than warm. I have read articles about a baffle behind the fridge to create some kind of chimney effect. Some people use a small electric fan in the fridge to circulate the coldness from the fins to the rest of the fridge.
