refer has switch auto-off-gas, if i unplug 30 amp line, refer should switch to run off battery or propane and if propane is not available it should run off the battery, correct? when i try to do this the 2 lights on fridge by switch flash and the ignitor keeps trying to fire propane. this is a 2020 jayco TT 245rls. is something broke or is my thought process for how it should work wrong?? thanks

Can you light the stove? Are you out of propane, or have recently filled it?

Your fridge is only 120/gas the 12v only operates the control circuits. So if no elec it will try to switch to gas, but does not run on 12v alone.

As NewBlackDak said are you sure the air has been bled out of the line. Also there may be a small manual valve in the gas line in the outside compartment, is that open?

Fridge and water heaters are prone to buildup of crud, spiders,??? in the burner area. Many posts and youtubes to look at then go out and clean the burner and pilot with soft brass brush and/or air blast. Make sure flame sensor is not bent. Even if the pilot ignites if the flame sensor is bad it will keep shutting it off.

Nothing here is rocket science. Just maintenance that you need to do seasonally.

120vac and propane with dc control ckts are what is normally provided.

The 3 way units are rare.

Or generally only found in pups if that is what you had before.

I would add that you can try to manually light it to see if the problem is the ignitor or the gas supply. Mine was fussy this year because too much rust/crud buildup around the ignitor, but would light fine manually until I could take the burner cover and get in there and clean it.
