Norcold Refrigerator Door Issue

I know many are having the issue with the refrigerator door hinge. I looked up part numer 643166 and it's available from Amazon, however, that part number does not work on the Norcold N8X model. In speaking with a Norcold rep, she told me I need part number 640435, but she doesn't have any in stock. She told me I'm going to have to dig deep to find one. Not happy, this is the second door hinge that broke in one year, fortunately the first one was covered under manufacturers warranty. Does anyone know where I could find a 640435 part? I checked rvfrideguys, they show it as a discontinued part.

Not made for N8X models, but can be modified to work

This hinge kit is not made for N8X model but can be modified to make it work. I had to cut away the U hook, thus making it working for both freezer and refrigerator doors. I used counter sunk screws and burred the holes on the bracket so it sits flush and not interfere with the bottom of the hinge.

This is EXACTLY what I did to make the repair bracket work for my Norcold N8X refrigerator.
