Norcold refrigerator not working properly

HI!
I have a 2015 Jayco Jayflight SLX 267bhsw with a Norcold N611R fridge. I plugged the trailer today to get ready to leave tomorrow. After 4 hours or so, the freezer is super cold, but the fridge is room temp. Got it plugged into land power. Switched it over to LP, same thing. Freezer cold as could be, fridge, nada. The trailer is less than a year old so I'll be calling the dealer in the morning for warranty work, BUT anyone have any idea of whats going on? from what I've read on other forums, usually the entire unit either works or does not work. I haven't heard of the freezer working but fridge not.
Any info is appreciated.

We usually let ours run overnight or longer before a trip. Seems to take that long for the refer to get cold. I don't know if 4 hours is enough time.

x2. We power up the fridge at least a whole day before we plan on stocking food.

Some people put frozen bottles of water in the fridge to help it along.

There is only 1 cooling unit. If the freezer is cold, then the fridge is cooling too.


Every time you open the door, all the cold air falls out. Check the temp of the fins at the top rear of the fridge cavity. They should feel cold, but not freezing.


If you really need to know the temp of the fridge, get a thermometer. Human hands tend to be a bit subjective.

Thanks everyone. I read on another site that if it's over 100 degrees outside the fridge won't cool if there are no vent fans to cool the coils down, and it was 105. I was surprised I guess because I store it indoors. I just left it on overnight and the next morning-nice and cold. Thanks for all the replies.

I also put a few frozen water bottles in the fridge and freezer to help pre chill the unit along with a battery powered fridge fan. It has helped a lot with the AZ temps.
