Scanguage here installed permanently on the dash. I've got it setup to monitor transmission and water temp, especially when towing. Scanguage also does the normal OBD stuff. If you are towing a travel trailer I highly recommend something to monitor transmission temp as a fried transmission is a costly repair

I keep one with me that connects to my phone via bluetooth. Using the torque app it works very well and it was ~20 bucks.

Use it also to monitor actual water temp & EGT in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco Diesel.

Connected all the time.

OBD Reader

Hello,
We have a 2017 Precept 31UL and we are trying to find a engine code reader that is compatable with the Ford F53. Does anyone with this model know of a compatable code reader? I cannot find clear info on this. Thank you

OBD II port should be standard on any gas model vehicle since 1996.
