Odor in camper

When we come in (just the last few days) there has been an awful odor that hits you but when you open the sink cabinets the odor is very strong. Gray tank has been dumped black doesn’t need it yet I’ve put in chemicals I read somewhere that there was a vent under the sink that needs attention but I don’t remember where I read this. Any ideas on clearing this odor.? Thanks very much.

Here is a link to an older thread. It's called a anti-siphon valve or a trap vent.

Look under the sink. sometimes a tap with a screwdriver will release the stuck valve. On, many it can be unscrewed and cleaned.

It happened to me on a trip early this summer. I just put a plastic bag over the valve and taped it in place.
