Off the wall

For the past year or two I’ve had great luck with Command hooks to hang pictures, a small white board etc on our TT walls. This summer, the heat apparently has gotten to them and things are falling off the walls. What do you use on that beige textured vinyl-type wall covering? Thought about 3M auto double-sided tape but I doubt it would ever come off later if necessary. Dare I carefully put a couple of very short brads into the walls, which I assume are luan behind the wallpaper? I could Gorilla Glue the hooks on, but again they’d be there for a future owner (forever.) Thanks for any ideas!

I had the same issue, until I learned, the OEM, applied a silicone to the walls to make them easier to clean.

I took a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and cleaned the spot I what the command hook. Since then, l have not had one released prematurely.

Although the package recommends that, I’ve not done it as the walls were clean. Good to know about the silicone. I’ll try the alcohol. Thanks!
