I got 1 key ring with 2 identical keys that fit in all the locks. You probably got 2 sets of keys and someone else didn't get any keys with their trailer!

Like others have said, it’s most likely for the outside shower compartment

Is it true that the key works on all other Jayco's also?

Black key

Shower. I put a key hook (3M command) by the door (inside) to hang the shower panel key.

I went to this outfit and bought 3 cylinders to replace the outside cargo door locks and had them keyed to the door key. I now have a single key to open everything including the outside shower.

Outside shower would be my guess. At least that’s what it was on my key ring.

This is normally the case, the door and deadbolt have different tumblers as the 'standard' key from another person may very well fit your trailer. I changed out all of the locks on my Alante when I found another owners compartment key fit my coach.... not good.

On a side note, my outside TV compartment has a separate key also.

. That made my day. While there at they should give us a key to there safe!

Not sure why they wouldn't key everything the same. I know for sure mine has two keys and I think there's a third. All the storage but one have the same key on my RV. For some reason they put a different lock on the larger storage door.

Same on our 2018 Jayco 28RLS, the other key is for the outdoor shower, and it appears to be common across all trailers.

I went to get spare made and the dealer just had a stock of identical outdoor shower keys. This wasn't even a Jayco dealer.

Like ford used to say "you can have any color as long as it black".

Grey/Black key question

The black key is the same common key that has been around for years (ch751) I think. It opens everything but the entrance door. Common across most trailers.

Black key for outside shower door. I had duplicates made for the Hatch/entrance doors but the locksmith didn’t have a blank for that black key, so just need to not lose it, I know it’s a dumb down from Jayco

You might also try the outside entertainment crnter door. My second key opens that on my Jayco Seneca.
