Opening slideout on non-level surface

Picking up my new 28BHBE tomorrow and will have it parked in the street for 2-3 days in order to put the stuff in (from our previous TT).

I was wondering if it is ok to open the slideout if the TT is not on level grounds? There's an easy 4-6" drop on my street.

My previous TT had a 16" deep and 72" wide slideout and I would open it no problem, but the 28BHBE has a, what, 14' x 4" or so slideout. Wouldn't want to damage anything if I open it...

Your thoughts?

I'd level the unit or park somewhere else. That's just my opinion as I have always avoided opening the slide on a severe angle so I have no direct (good or bad) experience.

I was planning on trying to level it out a bit with either wood boards or my Lynx Levellers... but was wondering!

Get it as level as you can and try running the slides out. If you notice any binding stop and leave them there. Chances are you can load most things with the slides in either all the way or part way.

I can actually have access to everything with the slide closed..... well almosrt... I think the TV and the entertainment cabinet is not accessible...so I don't lose much.

It's one of the reasons we loved the floorplan, if need be, we can fully use it without having to open the slide!
