We love our 2017 Jayco Flight SLX 264bhw camper. Had it for over a year now and couldn't be happier. We think it's roomy, has a lot of nice features and tows easily. You get a lot of camper for the money. Like others have said, it’s easy to add a power tongue jack, LP gas cover, bed lift and some other little things to make life easier. Looking forward to the 2018 camping season with it!

For our family of 5 and one small dog, it is nice and comfy. We've had our for last than a year and haven't had any issues other than a water leak that just needed to be tighten. Towed it north from CA to WA... @ 1800 mile round trip with our previously owned 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 with no issues... just had to monitor the tranny temps on the GMC when climbing the hills. Made another trip from CA to UT... @ 2000 mile round trip with our new 2017 Ram 2500 Diesel Cummins and it was like night and day towing. There's no comparison in my limited experience in the power and stability of the 2500 Diesel vs. the 1500 Gas truck. We love our 264BHW with our new 2500 Diesel. Only problem is... we are ready to upgrade to one with a slide out with the similar plan... like we originally had wanted.

Has anyone run a cable from the roof to the inside? I have a Wifi Camp Pro and need to get a USB cable down from the roof. Wondering what is the best route.

Love mine. About to post a big review. Short? If you're handy, buy it. If you buy it new your jayco warranty gets you 2 problem free years. If you buy it >2 years old, and you're handy it's a great unit. It's been the most fun we've had on vacation, ever.

Any pickup will do fine for a TV but we use a Yukon XL for six humans plus big RV

I should probably update this thread. It keeps popping up with reviews every so often.
I bought the 264bhw's sister camper, the 26bh.
We've been happy with it overall.

We have had to take it for warranty work after every single trip so far, but dealer and manufacturer have stood behind warranty.

I thought I was buying more camper than we needed; it turns out that it is just about right. We've used just about all storage on the most recent trip (10 days in the Texas Hill Country), and my husband looks like Buddy the Elf in the little shower. He uses the campground facilities and is more comfortable there.

I wish they would have just made single bunks and gave us another 8-12" in the bathroom, but we are happy with everything else.

Unless the weather drives is in, we really aren't inside it much. We either use it as our personal hotel suite and go places, or we play at the campground/state park until the hoot owl tells us to get washed up and go to bed.

We have the bumper grill, and we made breakfast on it just about every morning on our last trip in addition to the dinner grilling.

We got the thermal package and the upgraded air conditioner, and it stays cool in 95+ temperatures. I do keep shades down during the day when we aren't inside.

I would highly recommend the 264bhw or the 26bh to anyone starting out, as long as they understand that it's a place to sleep and wash up, eat and prep food--not a luxury liner.

I'm glad we bought it.

Just my 2 cents. I purchased a 2016 model and couldn't be happier. Yes a slide would be nice, but just starting out, its one less items that one needs to worry about.

The only hesitation I would make when recommending this model to someone is dependent on their size. I'm 160 and 5'8. No issues maneuvering inside with the family who is also average size. If you are a family of giants (plus size) and have a dog to boot, you will be cramped and uncomfortable. Get one with a slide.

Ditto on the sentiment to buy one you think is too large.

Our 264bhw was my first trailer ever and we started out shopping for popups like the noobs we were. So glad we went big. Whole summer of fun NOT ruined. So yeah. Go big.

Hello all. Looking at this trailer in 2015 model. I own a Chevy Colorado without the 2.8 diesel engine and tow package. This shouldn't be a problem to tow correct?

That trucks rated to tow 7700 so unless you fill the trailer with rocks it should tow great with the tow haul PKG.

I felt that way based on the numbers. However, just needed a little confirmation on the amount of impact that wind would have on a smaller footprint truck. Heck, the Colorado is about the same size as an F150 or Silverado from just a few years ago. Thanks again for the response. I may pull the trigger on it in a day or two...

We bought a 2015 264bhw slx. My Colorado 2.8 Duramax Diesel pulled it fine. Short trip. Only 35 miles to the lake, but a little hilly. Thanks for the info about the camper. Probably going to put new tires on it. Any suggestions or is this for a different thread?

Goodyear has replaced their Marathon trailer tires with the Endurance. It is a Load Range D tire that runs 65 psi. I put them on my bass boat last year and the fact that they were on my new SLX 245 RLS was a big selling point.
