Outdoor kitchen stove will not light

2016 32 BTSH trailer.....my grill top inside lights, but my outdoor kitchen gas grill will not. Is there a propane valve that I am not opening? Also, the outdoor fridge does not seem to get cold....does it work on electricity when plugged in, or does it also work on propane. Sorry....but my dealer customer service is totally frustrating!

I do not have my Jayco trailer yet and am not sure of all the features but.... It sounds like you may be out of propane. The rv refrigerators will run off propane or elecreic. There should be a button on the frig to select auto or gas. There is also usually a selector switch between the two propane bottles. I think maybe some switch automatic

I would check if the bottles are open, full or if only one is empty, see if there is a selector to switch to the other bottle

Edit: I didnt read at first that it was an outside frig so not sure what the run off.

Please ignore

Sorry community...I am very new at this. Found the gas port for my outdoor grill, and a fuse kept th outdoor fridge from working. I will try to do better due diligence before bothering the forum.

We are all here to help... Sometimes a quick reply here saves you a bunch of manual-searching.

There should be two valves for your propane line that you are connecting. One valve at each end. Turn them so the are parallel with your propane connection. They should be inline with your hose when open and off to the side (horizontal) when closed. The outside refrigerator is electric only and will only work off shore power, when the camper is plugged in and all breakers inside are on.

I am having an issue with my outside stove as well on my new 2015 whitehawk 27 rbok. I checked the valves and they are open. The indoor stove and fridge work fine. The propane does not seem to reach the outside stove. This was my first time to try it out.

Z and AZ,

Welcome!!!

Z,

Glad you had you questions answered! As posted, outdoor fridge is electric only. It would be nice if it had a propane option!!!

Don't worry, we have all started somewhere!!! And it takes time to learn.

AZ,

You probably need to bleed the air out of the line back to the outdoor stove. Just be patient with the valve on for a reasonable bit of time.

Good luck!!!

I am not sure if yours is the same as my 2016 23MRB but I have to slide the stove out, then connect a hose from the stove down to an LP fitting just below.
Make sure the the lever valve on the fitting you plug the hose from the into is on.
