outdoor shower leak

I dewinterized today and found my outdoor shower leaking in a weird spot. Where the flex hose attaches to the valve body, there is a small hole and water is spraying out of that hole when I open the valves. Any ideas?

The factory outside faucet isn't the "best" quality.... Many, including me, have upgraded with this: https://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-PF213.../dp/B002P2YGHE

Does this fixture fit in the locked "Box" covering the current outdoor shower?

If your outside shower unit is like this one, that's 4" removable fixture, so it should be an easy swap-out once you get the "cubby" unstuck and loose.

Looks like I'm going for that shower faucet also.
