When upgrading from our popup the DW wanted an oven. What the DW wants, the DW gets. Now me and the kids get cookies !

I insisted on an oven when we were shopping. We've used it a couple times. Our problem is that we don't want to create the heat. Well, that and sometimes when we're out camping we're just downright lazy. We tend to have light breakfasts, lunch is quick and easy so we can stay on the go, and dinner is typically grilled outside.

For years, we have only sought out recipes that take no more than 30 minutes from fridge to table, and not many oven recipes fit that bill. We tend to bring that which we eat at home out on the road, so our meals tend to be quick and easy on prep, and we enjoy our time together at the table.

I'm still glad we have it just in case for those mornings when we just have to have biscuits or cinnamon rolls...

We have an oven and the micro/convection. I use the oven more than the microwave. Then again I like to bake things

I was wondering if anyone would replace their standard propane oven with a convection oven? It's something I've thought about before, but never really got serious about it...

We use a Camp Chef oven. Works great. We bought it when we had the pop-up. Haven't used the one in the TT yet. Guess I'll have to try it.

Me I used the oven the wife not so much. I miss having it but I can always bake in the Dutch oven so the wife wins again. If we were full timers I would have an oven

We opened the door to our oven when we bought our camper 3 years ago. It was nice, shiny and clean. Haven't opened since. Wife says anything that can be cooked in the oven can be cooked on a campfire, with a little imagination. [and aluminum foil]
