owners manuel

New member here, we just purchased a used 2013 28BHBE from a dealer south of Des Moines. I asked for the owners manuals, they said the previous owner must have kept them. I downloaded Jaycos manual for the coach off their web sight. I emailed Jayco CS inquiring about getting the manuals for the appliances, AC, etc. and they told me to contact all the different manufactures. They said they don't have anything for parts they don't build. Is this a new way of doing business? Our previous TT was a 1999 Coachman, I had all the original paperwork,in one binder, from Coachman. Do customers not get manuals anymore? Wondering in Iowa.

I got them with my new rig. I guess they don't keep them but they should all be available easily online.

Bought my 26BH came with all the manuals. Sold it and provided all the manuals to the new owner.

Bought my 29QBH private party used - got all the manuals from the original owner.

So No, I don't think this is a new a way of doing business. Jayco gets a copy of the manual with the equipment installed and sends that manual with the trailer when it ships. I know that several of the OEM manuals came with the equipment because the serial number labels were already affixed to the paperwork.

Also, they weren't printed from PDF at Jayco, many came in envelopes from the OEM and most were not on standard size paper.

Most of the manuals are quite generic anyway, the info didn't pertain to your rig specifically, rather to all the rigs collectively, once out of warranty, you are going to find more accurate information on the internet.

Even when you look at your new car owner manuals, they all cover every option possible, but not necessarily to your car.

The Jayco manual I downloaded for my TT had a list of most of the appliance manufactures and their web sites listed on pg 12 you may find a similar list in your manual. I was able to get a lot of the manuals from the manufactures web sites. The hard part then is finding the model numbers for all your appliances.
I still haven't gotten the number for my A/C it appears I have to pull the cover on the roof, so I figure I'll get to it next time I'm up there.

Good Luck and welcome.

Just checked the Jayco website and your owners manual is available under the product archive link at the bottom of the web page.
