painting your trailer

Has anyone on this forum painted a mural or anything else on their stick and tin Jayco trailer? If so, what kind of paint did you you use, and was you happy with your results? How about some pics?
The reason I ask is because sometime this week, after many months waiting for parts then 3 weeks of fighting an infection, I finally get to go get my repaired TT from the repair shop. I had them leave off the decals on the rear outer wall so I could paint a bald eagle, and I want to make sure it doesn't wash off or fade.
I also had them install a non-programmable thermostat on the heat and air system.
TIA
Michael

If I were going to do something like this, I would get a vinyl graphic made instead of painting it on. You can take your artwork to a place that does vinyl wraps or signage for vehicles - they can print you a vinyl version of your artwork that is much like the Jayco decals (maybe better quality depending on where you go). Prices are generally pretty reasonable and they won't wash off or fade.

I would second the idea of a car wrap material. I have been wanting to do this, just have not come up with the artwork.

I may have to look into the vinyl wrap. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but may do just as well. Thanks everyone for your input.

You may be surprised what they can do! I know that some places could take your painted artwork and scan it in and reproduce it on vinyl - it would look very real and like your painted artwork, but be more durable. Check around locally and see what you can find out...
