Parking in LA?

Hi All,

We're visiting a friend in West Hollywood and need somewhere to park our trailer for a Sunday eve to Wednesday am. They've only got street parking.

I googled Jayco dealers and the nearest one was over an hour away.

Any ideas?

TIA

Yes, do the hour away or you'll have nothing to come back to. My son lives in LA near Griffith park and I asked him the same question and that's what he told me to do. If it's not in a gated community it's fair game and remember "I told you so"!!! He lives on Aberdeen Ave. and he has a poor house at $1.2 mil. and he would never leave his car on the street. If you do the search it's off Los Feliz Blvd and North Hillhurst Ave. Just google that one and you would be shocked at how nice the neighbor hood is but you leave nothing out!!!

LA alternatives

Or ... you could pay fees at one of the local RV parks ~ gives you a place to get away to when things get too tense. Some of the campground resorts actually have storage lots and will move the RV in-and-out to a campsite space for scheduled visits.

End of June, DH is in LA for a week-long workshop so the dog and I will be "living the resort life" (aka doing nothing but relaxing) at the East Shore RV Park. Sure a lot cheaper than a hotel and restaurants! There is also a KOA in the same area of LA; there may be other options closer to where you are staying.
