Peel and stick tile

First I attached the peel and stick to 1/8" thick pressed board to give it a little depth. I used double sided tape to attach it to the wall. last I added the border with a little silicone adhesive.

Bathroom peel and stick tiles

Here's the 9" x 9" peel and stick tile I bought for the bathroom.

Great idea with the board.

I have thought about doing that, but since I don't full time camp, I was worried that it might peel off while sitting in storage (ie gets to ~100 degrees or so in summer when not camping.

Love the idea though, great work!

Josh

We opted for ceramic penny tiles for the backsplash on our Greyhawk 29MV. Installed with "Musselbound" double-sided adhesive tile mat and permanently flexible quartz grout. Two years and no issues. Also added a Moen faucet at the same time. Happy wife.

Did yours come with that hokey plastic backsplash behind the stove? If so, did you have any trouble removing it?

Yes and absolutely.

Mine, new from the factory, was attached with a combination of double-sided tap and liquid nails. The tape split and the Liquid Nails stayed with the wall. Had to chisel it off and then repair the surface. If you decide to try this, contact me at mxz5@aol.com

Looks nice. I would do it in my new trailer, typically the manufacturer only provides the bare minimum and often leaves one wall especially if it is a 90 degree wall near the stove, unprotected. I never understood that.

I used this peel and stick https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I attached a before and after photo. This was just last summer. I love the colors, but if I had to do it again I'd go with something much lighter as the trailer color scheme is too dark as is.
