It depends on the size of the Jayport table.

My PitBoss portable smoker size at the base is 23" x 14".

I ditched the portable Webber charcoal grill for the PitBoss portable smoker and I am very happy with it. It was hard to pass up at $227 at WallyMart. I have a full size 24" pellet smoker for home, but this portable unit is the bomb. I take it to my daughters, and my father-in-laws houses when we go to cook dinner.

I used it last weekend to cook 3 racks of baby back ribs. You can only fit 1.5 racks of ribs on the stock grill grate. The grill comes with a second level option that is WORTHLESS. You lose the use of the area beneath the second rack. I built a custom second rack that was the size (minus 1" on both sides) to allow me to cook 3 racks of ribs. You have to cut off 3 ribs from each rack, but I can put 2 racks below and a 3rd rack on the upper deck along with the cutoffs from the 3 racks. The ribs were the talk of the party.

I like that idea.... is that 1/4" rebar and some 3/16 steel rod? I would put that on our Traeger in a minute... Maybe tomorrow if I can find the 3/16 rod in the garage.

That is exactly what I happened to use. I had all the materials in my garage and it was the least expensive cost and virtually indestructible.

The only down side I came across, but I figured out how to work around was mopping the lower racks of ribs when the upper rack was in place. I just lifted one of the rack at a time and brushed on the BBQ sauce.
