I hate to ask if you tried turning the plug over?

Lol norty1, I was going to suggest the same thing.... and then figured that the coffee maker was likely a 3 prong plug....
I wonder if O.P. needs to pull up slightly on the pop up outlet to make sure it's fully extended... there MIGHT be some sort of mechanism that keeps you from plugging things in until it's fully extended - and in turn, keeps you from pushing it down if items still plugged in?

The coffe maker is not a thre pronged plug but I don't think there's a mechanism like that on there I try that but I have pulled up as far as it could go when you pull it up it locks into place

Any way to verify that voltage is present into the outlet?

Yes the voltage is there because i can just hold the coffe maker plug in it and it turns on but just can't push it all the way it will just fall out

So, this is likely a part of the "tamper resistant" new outlets strategy.. I knew this was coming for home outlets, but didn't even think about it for the RV industry...
My suggestion - make sure both blades of your plug are against the outlet in their respective slots - put your other hand behind the receptacle to give it some support and push a bit harder than you think you need to. They will wear in and become easier with a bit of usage.
Give that at try and see how it goes.

I was thinking the same thing. Luckily I do not have any of the popup outlets in my TT.
I installed the new wall style outlets in my SB home when doing a big remodel (code requirement ). What I found you must apply even pressure to both blades as you are pushing the plug in.

Telling us about your actual trailer is always a good start. The more info you share, the more people will be able to offer advice and suggestions.
I'm not sure how old your trailer is, but modern outlets are often the "tamper resistant" version. These have internal covers that are meant to move only when two prongs are inserted simultaneously. However, these can be finicky and I have a couple in my house that fight me on occasion. If you have a newer trailer with these types of outlets, you could simply have an outlet that is sort of broken and the covers are not retracting as designed.
[Looks like White Ox and I were penning a similar response at the same time. ]
