Portable inverter generator A-ipower SUA7600iED

We recently got this generator and now it keeps shutting down in 1-5 min due to CO detection. This happens even in the open. Several people have experienced this issue but on other makes and have solved the problem by jumping some wires/ taping the CO sensor. I tried disconnecting it and even taping it but the problem persists. I have figured out what the 8 wires to the connector are. 2 blue are power, 1-W goes to ignition module, 1 blk and 1 G/Y are ground and the other 3 go to the LED indicator light. Anyone any idea how I can jump these to solve my problem.

You can download the manual here (go to the downloads section):

May shed light on the problem. It does have a wiring diagram.

I have the wiring diagram and also know that the white wire going to the ignition module needs to be jumped but to which other is my question.

I jumped the one going from the CO sensor to the ignition module with the ground at the CO sensor and also had to cut the ignition module wire for it to work continuously.
