Portable tire inflators
What type of portable tire inflator do you carry in the event you need to air up one or all of the trailer ties. Hope it never happens but want to be prepared.

I am on my second one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/Campbell-Haus...=tire+inflator
They last for years and are perfect for topping off truck and trailer tires (80 psi). The only downside is that they are 120 AC. I do have a Honda 1000 generator that I carry, although I have never had to use it as I always have 110 available when needed.

The 12V compressors with the best reputation seem to be VAIR. I have this one. https://www.amazon.com/Viair-30033-V...keywords=viair
Works great, I find I use it mostly for airing up pool toys so far.

We use a VIair 88P compressor that we bought on Amazon. It connects directly to the battery with provided cables. It works great for our needs.

I have the Stanley Fat Max and I don't go camping without it.
It has a digital readout so you know what your tire pressure is. If it's low, program more psi and it automatically shuts itself off after it reaches the desired PSI. It also has a built-in 1400 Peak Amp Jump Starter with 500 W Inverter. No need to connect to your battery with cables or generators are needed, just turn the unit on and you're set to go.

One word of caution on using the digital display pressure gauge. I carry the ryobi 18volt one+ digital inflator. Using a tire pressure gauge (pen style) I get a different, higher reading than with ryobi...

I bought one of these on close out at Walmart over 8 years ago for $15.00 and still use it to top off bike and truck tires. It was also good up to 80-90 psi for topping off trailer until I went to tires with 100psi.
edit: Don't trust the gauge on any compressor.

I put a Harbor Freight 750W continuous inverter in the bed for running a small fridge while traveling. It is hard wired from the truck battery through a 125 amp fuse and 4 AWG cables. We use the fridge while camping for drinks rather than carrying a cooler and buying ice. Since I have the inverter, I bought a 3 gallon "hot dog" air compressor from Harbor Freight and keep it in the bed of the truck. I use it on every trip for airing up my firestone air bags and I keep bike tires topped off as needed.

Ditto on this one. I have an older version and have had it for about 10 years. Works great but I don't trust the gauge. You do need a source of power. I've tried the 12VDC inflators and just haven't had much luck with them.

For quick checks and top-offs, I have used this for about a year. Doesn't take up much space and there's always a one+ battery around the camper and garage. It's a bit cheaper at HD.
