I just got a Tote-N-Stor 25608 Portable Waste Transport - 25 Gallon this past spring for a 2 week stay at a CG that did't have full hookups (elec + water only). The 25 gallon seemed a reasonable size to handle - not too big or too small. I like the way it hooks onto my hitch with the supplied bracket, but the little storage compartment is useless and the hose that came with it sucks as well. So... I don't use the compartment (which is OK) and I use my regular dump hose. My guess is they are all pretty much the same; but size does matter. Whatever works best for you.
I'm in the process of fabricating a bracket on the rear of my TT for transport.

I bought a Thetford tank. I think it's a 25 gal, about half the capacity of my grey tank. I bought the tank to use at a CG we stayed at for a week without full hook-ups and it's the only time I have used it. I replaced the plastic wheels on it with some pneumatic dolly tires from Harbor Freight.

I bought the Barker 42 gallon. Used it last weekend and loved it. I can completely empty any one of my tanks without worrying about overflow. Also came with pneumatic tires. Much quieter dragging down the road. If you get one, only advice is spring for a better hose than the one it comes with and remove the small cap so it can vent.

I think I have the same tank. I like the idea of the pneumatic tires so your poop run doesn't alert the whole campground!
The built in hose works really well. I've never quite figured out the overflow prevention thing. Sometimes it drips a bit from the hose on the way to the dump but it's no big deal. I never quite figured out where it's coming from; don't really feel like poking around down there and looking!
Another problem I have is that my camper is so low to the ground, I have trouble filling the tank. If I know I'm going to have to use it, I try to put some blocking under the wheels to raise it up a bit; probably shouldn't have the wheel(s) sitting directly on the grass anyhow. And why is it that I always seem to be blocking up the door side of the trailer to level it rather than the back where the dump pipe is?
The biggest problem is that there's no easy way to rinse out the black tank at the campsite. This usually renders my sensors useless.

We use a 30-gallon Barker and it works well but is hard to pick up to hook to the hitch when full. I would definitely recommend spending the extra $$$$ to get a tank with four wheels. I wish we had!

We are on the other end of the spectrum. I only carry our tank on loooong trips. Don't recall which tank I have, I think it is a Thetford and it is small, maybe 7-10 gallons. Longest we have been out is 6 days and have never filled our tanks. So I have never used it. I figure I only need to take out a little if needed. This small tank can be easily lifted and placed in the back of the pickup truck. Due to is small size storage is not an issue. We also leave it at home for all trips except for the long stays.

I have a Barker 42-gallon unit also. Works very well. And since the total of both of my gray tanks is 45 gallons, I can usually empty both into it for 1 trip.

Got a Thetford 27 gallon. We mostly camp at State Parks and this size works for us. My grey tank is 32 gallons and the black tank is 32 gallons. Normally we don't have to drain the black tank for the time we are there but the grey tank every other day.

We use a Tote N Stor 32 gallon. I did buy it a longer axle and put on larger rubber tires as it will drag it's belly on a rocky road. Not to hard to lift to the trailer ball to haul to the poo dump station.

Barker 25 gal. 4-wheeled tote with pnuematic tires. Mostly due to the stellar reviews.
Our grey and black tanks are 25 gal. and I figured that's all the weight I'd want to deal with anyways.

X2 on the Barker.. what ever you get make sure the tote is larger than your tank so you don't get any nasty surprises dumping.

Also have the 42 gal Barker but went a step further by coupling it with a portable Flojet macerator. Then went to Lowes and bought 25' of 3/4" clear plastic tubing and two clamp on garden hose adapters. I then usually dump when the black tank is about half full so I can also rinse it out each time.
I leave the Barker in the bed of my truck and when I need to dump the black tank, I just hook up the Flojet, connect the hose and pump away. Then just drive the truck to the dump station, whether it is at the same campground we are staying at, or miles away from any remote location. Once there, just hook up a standard sewer hose and let gravity empty the Barker. If we are at home, I just move the Flojet from the trailer to the Barker, power it with a battery charger and empty empty the Barker contents into the garage toilet.
