Potable water tank

I have an '89 Jayco Jayswan 29' and I am curious on the size of the potable water tank. I have all the paperwork for the trailer but can't seem to find the capacity in there anywhere. We will be taking a weekend trip later this month to a CG that we know has sulphur water so I will be filling the tank before we go. Just wondering how much we will have on board. Thanks in advance.

If you can't find the info any other way you can use this device to fill your tank and get a reading...

I use it to measure 10 gallons of fresh water before we travel. We just need enough to use the bathroom enroute to a destination...

I want to fill ours, the DW will not use the "egg water" for anything. We will be there for 2 nights so I want to be able to shower, do dishes and cook with what water we carry on board.

Consider adding a carbon block or carbon wrapped water filter to get rid of that sulfur 'egg water' smell and other stuff you can't smell. The down side is the flow rates can be slow through those filters so, for showers, using the fresh water tank is often the best option.

or empty the tank into buckets through the tank drain valve.

Low tech and effective, although would take a good long while to accomplish.

I will have to look at the carbon filters for this type of water. In the future we may encounter this issue somewhere else and I'd like to have a solution ahead of time for sure.
