Power Awning Motor Failure - 2018 32BHDS

Anyone ever have a motor go out on a power awning? We had some torrential rain in Orlando. The awning was tilted with the back down. When we broke camp, it seems like the rear motor housing was full of water. The next night I extended the awning to let it dry during our quick stay half way home. In the morning the awning nearly refused to retract and it seems like the rear retract motor is not operating.


I'm thinking the design of the awning motor is faulty. With the awning tilted, there is nothing to stop rain from pouring into the motor.
