Question Power cable

I have read the post on power cable mods and was thinking of doing this mod on my 2011 25RKS in fact have purchased all of the parts to change it over to quick connect plug. But DW just ask what will that do to our 2 year warranty does anybody know if so then will take parts back or keep them until warranty is over then changet it over.

Call Jayco and see what they say, then, if it is ok, get it in writing.

The rule of law concerning warranties is that they have to prove that what you did caused the problem... so if an electrical problem at the installed plug caused the trailer to burn to the ground then you are at fault.. if the lino cracks they cant say "oh you installed an electric plug we wont cover it".. as long as you keep your polarities right and all the fine little wires inside the fixture you should be OK
