Power consumption

A thread in mods has lead me to this question. What is the power draw in amps of various items in a TT?
1. 8 cubic ft. fridge
2. electric water heater
3. 15k BTU AC
4. Flat screen TV/26 inch
5. microwave
7. toaster
8. coffee maker

Just curious if anyone knows.

The following are only reasonable estimates.

1. 8 cubic ft. fridge ............... 2 amps
2. electric water heater ......... 10 amps
3. 15k BTU AC ...................... 8 amps running/25 amps starting
4. Flat screen TV/26 inch ....... 4 amps
5. microwave ........................ 10 amps
7. toaster.............................. 8 amps
8. coffee maker ..................... 8 amps/3 amps warm

Don't disallow the converter: anywhere from 2 amps to 7 amps (assuming the battery is not low)

Hope this gives you at least a relative load each device presents.

Wow, that is great! It gives me something to look and work with. Thanks so much.

Don't forget, those are 110V amps. If you are running off the batteries, the power draw on the 12V side will be around 10 time greater.
