Power Cord shoved in box

My kid shoved the outside power cord all the way into the storage box on our Whitehawk (28dsbh). Any suggestions on the easist way to get this thing back out?

Make a hook out of a coat hanger?

Welcome to the forum! Do you like fishing? Get a coat hanger, a flashlight and get fishing!! If that doesn't work you'll have to remove the plastic cord inlet assembly so that you'll be able to fit your hand in there to retrieve it.

Once you finally retrieve it and after you get the cord knotted up in there a few times, you'll do this:

When my cord got pushed all the way in, the only solution I came across was take the wood box apart from the back. There was one screw and then I pulled the staples apart enough to get my hand in the box and push the cord out. After the cord was out, I hammered the box back together - no harm done. I then put two zip ties on the end of the cord just in case it gets pushed in again so I will have something to grab.

Same thing happened to me on a long trip. I used the wire hook from my Carefree manual awning to pull it back through the opening.
