Pre-mounted TV

how do you hook up the pre-mounted Jensen TV to satellite dish? The inputs are in the back of the TV and impossible to access from the front. Help!!!

There are several ways. Your TV should swing out, look under it and see if there is a material strap hanging down, this is the pull to release the tv mount. It will swing out so you can access the back.

There should be a manual that explains the connections under your TV.

Thank you. There is no strap connected nor did we get any instruction on how to swing the TV out. There is a woven wire that hangs down but nothing happens when we pull it. So frustrating and pissed at the dealer right now for not explaining this.

Here is what mine looks like behind the TV.
The first picture is of the TV released, the second is of the wires at the bottom and the release strap hanging down.

Give the braided cable a good pull, that release can be a bit sticky. It might help if you press in slightly on the TV to ease some of the tension on that latch. Once I got mine unlatched, I lubed it, and that helped.

But, why are you hooking it up direct to the TV anyhow? There should be a coax plate nearby with 3 outlets. 1 goes to the TV and the other two should be jumped together with a very short coax. It should be right next to the antenna 12 v power outlet. Wire your sat box where the jumper is, and the dish to the "cable input" jack most likely found at about eye level, near the rest of your utility hookups on the outside street side of the camper.

Of course, this all depends on your trailer and its options, but this seems to be pretty standard.

We figured, finally, how to release the TV. Ours did not swing and has two latches. Also, had to purchase a longer HDMI cable which produces a better picture anyway. We got it all installed and will leave the satellite cords there permanently. The entertainment center is not deep enough for our satellite box so had to be creative. There was room for Jayco to extend that entertainment center out 6-8 inches to accommodate a satellite box but they didn't. So, we got 'er done but not without some cussing and wrangling. Thanks for everyone's help.
