Last night I did the winterizing for our 22FB, seeing this was the first time doing it things went well it took about 1-1/2 hours. I even pulled the plug for the water heater and inserted a 3/8 clear plastic tube into the hole and sucked all the water out of the w/h. I must say that I was surprised at the debris that was flowing through the tube. looks like I will have to flush out the w/h during the season. When I finished I lightly screwed the plug back in. Also with our pop-up there was always spiders and other insects that liked to make the water heater compartment home so I got some Glad Press And Seal and put it over the h/t cover and vent for the fridg. hoping to keep them out. let see how it works

That's a good idea if it stays on over the winter. We had a major problem with japanese beetles getting into our pop-up. I resorted to using regular plastic with blue painter masking tape to cover all outside vents. The tape does not harm the paint on the camper,or gets gooey, pulls right off in the spring. I also ran a strip all the way around the camper where the top joins the bottom when you crank it down. Works like a charm, and not a single spider or bug anywhere.
