Just to add fuel to the fire (pun intended) Both of the propane tank connection hoses on my 2018 Jayco Pinnacle failed. They started leaking at the crimp connections. I can't help but think it is due to the fact that the hoses got so stiff, almost brittle.

This is the 4th Jayco (one TT and 3 Fivers) we have owned, never had this issue with the other 3 units.

Add me to the club. I found the line from the tank to the regulator leaking on mine yesterday.

2018 Jayco 26.5 RLDS - I also noted a slight leak, for awhile. One day I found I could press on the hose, like the propane door would and hear it hissing. The hose leaked at the Type 1 fitting connection when I touched it. Replaced both cheap factory hoses with a set of dealer crimped hoses. No more propane leak.

The rubber is where also the cheaper tires are made from. Start using the SS-braided pigtails, they standup better.

That is what I have ordered for mine, the SS braided hoses.

I replaced ours 2 years ago with the stainless overbraid, and learned there were 2 different ends made. An inverted flare, and a NPT end. I had to take one off the regulator to check which one it was.
