Thank you everyone. Yes, I knew driving with propane on was a controversial topic. I found LOTS of posts about it when I was trying to search for answers about having the propane on while the camper was somewhere other than your home (or a campsite, of course.)

I just didn't know if there were any practical or even legal issues with turning it on overnight at the storage yard. I am glad to here that some of you do and/or have done it so I can at least consider it as a possibility.

We have been tent campers for several years so I am pretty proficient with freezing and pre-prepping foods prior to departure, but I do appreciate the extra tips of the trade.

We pick our pretty little Jay Flight 23MB tomorrow!!!! Maiden voyage will be a little overnighter the following Friday. I am excited! I am possibly also a bit obsessive so forgive me for the 10 other questions I am likely to pose before then.
