Propane Sensor going off?

I was reading thru all these messages, and I noticed one comment about the propane alarm chirping when it's the battery, not being a constant sound. I had been doing little maint issues on my new/used 2009 Sport yesterday, hooked up the trailer to elect at the house to check power to lights, microwave, fridge, etc. Also took it for a test drive and backing lessons (it's been a long time)-- Anyway this morning I heard a shrill sound from outside my house, and it turned out the propane alarm inside the trailer was going off, and a constant sound. I flipped the light switches to the on position, and it stopped, when I turned them off, it sounded again..... ???? What's the deal, anyone know? It's not a propane leak since my tank is good, and it's not hooked up at present to the trailer, so I'm really not sure what is causing the alarm to sound constantly? LOW BATTERY??

advise please! Starchazr

Yep, low battery. My old pup used to do the same. No chirp. Constant high pitched scream until I charged the battery or it went completely dead.
