Protect RV from tree sap

We’ve just parked our Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer for the season. Our site has a pine tree that is over our RV and we want to protect it from tree sap. We’re thinking of buying an inexpensive lightweight cover that is easy to put on and take off. Do you think this will work? Ideas for what we should buy? What it has to be (breathable?) or what we should avoid in a cover?

Or any other ideas on how to protect our RV? We want to avoid having to scrub off tree sap.

Thanks.

I think a simple plastic cover would work if you just put in on top and you don't have strong winds. If you are buying a full cover, I wouldn't go for a cheap one since you would need to buy a new one each year.

Thanks. There are strong winds here. I like the idea of a sheet of plastic, however not sure how we would attach it to the trailer.

You need something that will breath. So plastic is a bad idea otherwise you will get mold under the tarp
