Protecting LP gas lines

I am thinking of using polyethylene split loom to protect the lines under my travel trailer, Is this a good idea or is it prohibited?

Sounds like a good idea, however I have never had an LP line get damaged underneath any of the many RV's I have owned, although certainly some road debris could damage them. If I was going to do it, then I would be sure to protect all the wires, and perhaps the water lines as well if any are not in a loom already.

The only damage I've had has been from Tree Rats, AKA Squirrels. I had to replace the pigtail after one had a mid day snack. For this I used a stainless armored one.
