Purchase Water Tank for 28BHBE
Hello. Where is the best place to purchase a Water Tank for a 2017 Jayco Jayflight 28BHBE. It has 2 for a total of 76gallons and I just need to replace one as it has a slow leak/crack near the fitting where the hose connects.

LOL. I called my local Jayco Dealer after I posted this. The parts rep that took the call did not ask for my Make, Model or year, said she needed the dimensions of the tank, then suggested that I Look on Amazon or ebay, lol.

My first question, dor you still have a warranty on the tt? If so, I would use it. Typically they are not easy to get in and out.
My tank, has manufacturer name and part number on it.
Have you considered doing a plastic weld repair?

Sorry, just looked at your pictures closely. The silicone won't work wet but the clamp might still work. Just don't over tighten.

Is that fitting cracked? If it's not, just take the elbow fitting out and wrap some white plumbers tape (or plumber's "dope") on the threads and re-insert. Don't overtighten and crack the fitting. If it's leaking from the threads, this will cure your ill.
If the fitting IS cracked. Get it out of the tank, seal the hole, and put in another fitting.
If the tank itself is cracked, I would encourage using a plastic weld type repair. JB Weld makes a product that can go on wet.
It doesn't look to me like that leak is worth the SIGNIFICANT expense and pain for an entire tank replacement.

Reinstall that 90 degree fitting with some extra teflon tape and put a hose clamp around fitting to snug it a little. Good luck.
